Course: Teaching Teenagers

Course description

Teaching Teenagers is an intensive 2-week online teacher development course offering different engaging teaching methods and techniques: using personalisation, project-based Learning, motivating teenagers and developing critical thinking skills.

The course includes 30 hours of professional interaction with practical work and presents ways how to assess and provide constructive feedback for students’ continuous progress, also suggests techniques how to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and student-centered lessons for improving teenagers’ language competence. The course offers a total of 6 hours teaching practice time where participants will be teaching their fellows which will help them adapt the course content to their own professional context.

The course can be completed through the learning platform Zoom.

Quick Facts



Ani Demetrashvili is Head of Examinations at English Book Education. She has been working in ELT for more than 10 years. Ani is a CELTA qualified teacher. She has created and conducted different training courses. Ani was awarded with BA in English Philology at Tbilisi State University and MA in Education Administration at Ilia State University. Currently, she is  a doctoral student of Education Sciences, at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Education at International Black Sea University.
